Advancing Futures Matching Scholarship Program Is a collaborative initiative with local and state chapters of the National Dental Association, aimed at increasing access to dental education for historically underrepresented students. This program offers members of the NDA a unique opportunity to amplify their impact by matching their contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000 per scholarship award.

The number of awards offered annually is contingent upon the availability of funds, ensuring that each contribution supports deserving students in their pursuit of academic and professional excellence .

Eligibility Requirements and Criteria

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
• Must be enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year dental student in good academic standing at a U.S. dental school accredited by ADA/CODA.
• Must be nominated by a local or state chapter of the NDA or one of its constituent organizations
• Scholarship awardees must submit a quotation and 30-second video expressing their appreciation within 30 days of notification. This content may be used on the NDAF website and other publications.

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit the following:

• Professional photo
• One letter of recommendation from an NDA State or Local Society or NDA constituent organization.
• Proof of having received the scholarship from NDA State or Local Society or NDA constituent organization.
• A completed Photo and Video Release Form
